Kathy has delegated the music for the holiday party to me. But I am willing to share this honor. Here is the plan, please let me know if you would like to participate. First come, first serve.
1. We will "program" eight 15 minute segments of music
2. The eight programmers (maybe we should call them modelers) (occrider: har har, shoot me now) will pick their favorite party songs, download them to a CD and provide them to Patrick.
3. Patrick will put the whole 2 hours together and we will "shuffle" the songs during the party.
4. E-mail me if you want your 15 minutes.
5. If you can't do 15 minutes, but you have a fabulous song, let me know (e.g., YMCA by The Village People or Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice) , and I will try to add it (occrider: so this is what I'm competing against folks)
Here is what we have so far
15 minutes -- Ann (reggae, world music)
15 minutes -- (Patrick's music, I'm sure you will never have heard of it, but it will be really good)
15 minutes -- Andrew (trance/house music -- yes, we actually have some people under 30 in the division) (occrider: so out of about 100 people there are probably 10 that are under 30 ... 25 that are under 40)

So in the spirit of competition I need a 15 minute tracklist that will blow the pants off of Ice Ice Baby and the village people. And by blow the pants off I mean it has to be equally as obnoxious or more so ... however, I would like to keep my job. |

LOL, yeah and there's a house remix of it too! A local DJ here played the out of it over the summer (as a joke, obviously).
Coolest part about that song though, is that it samples Curtis Blow's 'The Breaks' during the break down.
