as a producer...what is your sound? (pg. 2)

My goal is to represent the ideas that are in my head, whether they be rhythmic, melodic or anything else, I just want them to find their way out into a form that closely represents them.

As far as what eventually comes out? Mostly melodic stuff in the vein of morning psy. Also a lot of stuff reminiscent of the early to mid-nineties classic and acid trance. Occasionally, a harder tune will emerge, but for the most part, I'm a softie.

When i first started, i strived to create and combine the drive of Alphazone tracks with the cuteness of Icone's melodic trancers and go from there.

Now that ive got the hang of the technical aspects of production, ive now started to be a little more inventive/imaginative and started to develop my own style deriving from the above mentioned style's.

Getting signed and having tracks released is not one of my main goals at the moment, perhaps my motives will change with experience and age.

The only things i crave is respect from fellow producers which can primarily be gained through shameless promotion on the internet through free releases. If getting tracks signed along the way achieves this then so be it, but its not the be all and end all.

The other is being able to recreate classics that i used to love listening to in my teen years, and being able to make people dance how i used to when listening to tracks of yester year.

I try to make Bangin' Techno but it always comes out sounding like brooding progressive.

My sound is basically Markus Schulz mixed with Luke Chable mixed with James Holden mixed with Airwave mixed with Max Graham mixed with Booka Shade mixed with Eric Prydz mixed with Daft Punk.

And now i just succeeded at coming across as pretentious.

In short, I dont have a sound cus it keeps changing.
