| I'm flying up to San Francisco for a few days to visist my girlfriend and I was wondering if anyone can please recommend some good record stores up there (something with techno and house)? Thanks! |

Open MInd is a great little indie shop that has lots of gems in it...As well as the styles you mentioned...Worth the visit...;) |

Is it like the one in Hollywood where you can't listen to the records before buying them? That was a drag...but they do have some good stuff in there (if you know what it is). |

| Reverb can order whatever you want...Almost...;) Theres a few other shops also that might interest you. Tweekin,Soundworks,Amoeba,Zen City & In House. But no place like Reverb...:whip: |

amoeba is hot, cause it not only has loads of great labels, other types of music (jazz, latin music), and used/rare items.
I dont live there but i send my buddy who lives in Sacramento there everyweekend to get me loads of this on my cd buy list. |
