The term guido is ruined.
It used to refer to an old Italian gentleman with a specific style.
Now, most of the time, the kids arent even italian. |

I'm gonna call b.s. on this one. wether you like it or not, and no matter how may times you deny it, looks will ALWAYS be the primary attraction. i'm not trying to defend guidos but let's be honest here, if two guys were having a plasent coversation with you at a club and one had ripped abs, a tan and was all decked out in d & g and dior while the other fellow was 100 pounds overweight was dressed poorly and had questionable personal hygiene, and both asked to get together with you for dinner and a movie on a later date, who would you take up on the offer. we as humans are a physical creature by nature and looks play a main part of it. |
um.... NO SHERLOCK.
these girls are looking for a nice, warm, and caring husband and want these juiced up guidos to provide them with a loving relationship til the end of time and they don't get the fact that after you fall in love and fall into the regular cycle of the relationship, the focus moves from the physical to the psyche. damn dude, you So didn't get it. |

wtf are you talking about? "guido" is just an italian name, that's all. it never referred to anything at all-- some random non-italian persons years ago happened to some italian dude guido and the name just snowballed into what it is now. guido NEVER used to refer back to a "gentleman" like italian man. |

Are you kidding me? is this a joke post? did ashton kutcher write this? the point of my post was me calling b.s. on YOU. you decided to take this holier-than-thou attitude about being superficial and only caring about looks, but you never responded on to how YOU judge people. i layed out a possible scenario for you and yet you conviently passed it by. i wonder why that is? |

Your "possible scenario" was a ridiculous one with no grounds in reality - you're just using extremes to your advantage. Get ing real. There are so many more factors than looks that would make us go on a date with someone. PS - it would depend on the vibe I got from him, his personality, his general attitude. Guys with ripped abs can be great people - so can overweight guys - guess what, that's why generalizations SUCK.
I am at a point in my life where looks figure somewhere at the low end of the scale... I know Lunasea is too. Any smart, modern, mature woman would agree. If they don't, well... good luck in the real world to them.
Are you bitter from some experience you had in the past? Sounds like it. |

haha I was at da old R'Field today and was thinking of stopping by Foot Locker and creepily asking if Dan was in, but I decided against stalker behavior... also I thought there might be more than one Dan and I would have to face a lineup of Dans and ask them which one of them was on TA. The thought profoundly scared me... |

LOL, that's funny. Nice, I was working today too. Nothing wrong with stalkers. I've been known to hide outside of my ex-gf's window on a ladder from time to time (KIDDING!). I'm the only white person with blonde hair and blue eyes. , most of the time I'm the only white person there.
Please tell me your name is a play on Miss Bliss from old school Saved by the Bell. That would so make my day. |

ACTUALLY, I'm a huge loser because I used to watch SBTB all the time BUT when I made this SN, it had nothing to do with anything, I just typed "Miss" for no reason and then rhymed it and came up with "Bliss"... but perhaps it was something subconscious cause I used to watch it alllll the time so it's weird I don't remember that character at all... :conf: :conf: |

I'm quite possibly a bigger loser. I still watch it every morning on TBS even though I can nearly recite every episode word for word (did I just admit to that?). Originally the show was called "Good Morning Miss Bliss" before SBTB. It took place in Indiana while they were in junior high. Miss Bliss was the teacher they all loved. Once they got to high school and moved to California (conveniently Zack, Screech and Lisa all moved at the same time) they did away with her character. Wow, I feel pathetic. |
