I kinda thought it meant less vocals, or deeper bass or something, but i cant figure this out, and a search doesnt help either :(

It's a bull term, when it comes to trance. It can mean whatever the producer wants it to mean, usually it means vocals and/or some other parts of the track have been stripped away.

Dub usually means instrumental/non-vocal/less-vocals.

It varies. A dub usually means a track with the higher frequencies removed, especially vocals, but a lot of "dubs" seem very tenuously dubby.

It comes from Reggae where they stripped out all the vocals, took out most of the highpass and upped the bass, banged that on the b-side of a single for clubs. Dance, disco, fair few rock bands and eventually made its way into house, trance and techno artists of today.
You can understand why it's popular with DJ's as they don't have to mess around with existing vox and can throw their own over the top or mash it up with vocals from another song.

Hehe. Dub is (and always has been) just as abused as a term electro is these days.
