| we're already doing a S.f. trip for new years but for the day of x-mas i know shes going to hand me something so i need to hand something back. thats why i'm thinking of some quirky ideas. thanks for the replies |

First of all I didn't say it had to be the only gift you gave but it would be something you could do extra for fairly cheap and it would have a lasting effect.

I'm the man when it comes to gift ideas. The deciding factor of getting someone a good gift is how well you know him. Next is your creativity and last is resources such as money. Note that uncreative people never get good gifts unless they're told what to get.
Top of my head here are some ideas.
Original artwork such as paintings, sculpture
Special night out on the town
Her name in lights
Personal serenade by you
Something creative
It matters how well you know him, especially with a boy friend (like mine). If you get him a really nice painting but he doesn't have any interest in art it won't mean much.
Money is a factor but it doesn't have to be the deciding factor. You could buy a really good expensive painting but you could also higher a poor artist for little cash to do something original.
Creativity is especially important. Anyone can take their date to dinner and a movie. It takes a creative person to know him favorite play and surprise him(fleshlight etc), arrange for an announcer to wish him a happy holiday over the loud speaker, or to rent out a section of the restaurant so its just the two of you (money with that one).
These ideas are assuming he's the boy-friend type. If you did anything like this for a man-lover like myself, i'de probably fart in your face then dump you. So again, how well you know him.
Creativity can be the saving grace. Even with no money you can get the best gift with a little effort. A simple card describing your love for him and giving her a nice necklace of a small key and telling her its the key to your heart can assure you sex for the next 5 days or until you find a hotter man friend. Or he could feel smothered because he doesn't love you back and breakup with you in the morning. |

ya know, i saw that but i was saving it for the right moment. i looked right after the brief discussion of suicide and small incisions. like we could have been separated twins at birth and stuff. um, don't dismiss it! maybe you at 11:59 pm and me 12am.. yeah, see how that works? that's what i thought. *sigh* you kinda spoiled my surprise. nice one. |
