I'm loving the way CD2 starts off: hard trance is some of my fave :D.....wow the first 15 mins is FIRE, this music is too nice :D

Ok. I'm going to sound like an extreme noob here.
Is this the same type of Ableton mix that Armin does with like min half to 2 mins for each tune?
Never quite understood the point of this.
How can you full appreciate each track? |

Yeah.. most tracks play for an average of 2 min each. I think it's a good overview of most of the bigger tunes of the year. Plus, everything is all mixed in key, so most of the mixes blend together properly. |

The way I see it is that we had the whole year to get to know these tracks, appreciate them and pick our favourites.. Now Armin just puts them in a nice compact, mixed format and it's one of those sets that you can listen to after some years pass and remember what trance of 2006 was about :) |
