Hey guys, I'm just sharing with you a song that I've made. It was actually named Aurora Borealis but I like this name better. I cleaned up a lot of the mixdown so it should sound cleaner. See if you guys like it since the labels probably don't.

Dude! Not too bad at all in my opinion! Personally I think the melody line should use a few less skips, but thats me. Like the intro alot and everything is a pretty good level. Nice use of fx and transitions and what not seriously. Better than ALOT of ty I've heard come from trance labels this year.

What'd you use to produce this if you dont mind me asking? Also how'd you get that vocal!?! Nice work

Holy tux!
The vocal effects are nice, I like the build up of the track, as I was listeninng I was hoping you would take it up a notch at the end and not let it die off peacfully, you didn't disappoint, but I still think you could have pushed it even more towards the end and it would have been even better, but that might just be my opinion. I think you could have got the strings to go even higher along with the bass too.

Feel free to drop in and give me some feedback for my latest track (link in my sig).

Keep it ^

Heartening to find someone still doing ambient/prog trance in their basement or garage somewhere, what I could say and I hope you take it as just that, (my personal criticism only, others may disagree).
I think it needs something unique in the way of sample works to distinguish it because you've essentially got a fine, simple, easy to listen to composition that just needs that special sample or sound in it that no ones used before.

Listening, now.

The introducing sweep is absolutely tasty. The fx are just admirable. The arps I hear, omg, OMG THE GUITAR. I love it. Awesome sound, I'd put more cutoff on the delay of the guitar though. Awesome effects, again, loving it. The percussions that are being introduced are crisp and most certainly get the job done. The bassline is so driving, and wide. Lovely sound you've got here.

The grit, high bass is really effective. Effects and percussions very very good. The pads and atmosphere of this track so far really gets me into a driving mood, great job. Melodies coming in, very nice introduction. Smooth and sexy sounding.

The kick, I think could use a bit more oomph, but its not entirely necessary. The guitar, lacks highs, I'm just now noticing... Well unless theres cutoff on it directly.

At the break. This is very intense and captures my attention very well, the strings are soo euphoric, they just make my soul soar into the skies. The arp melodies I hear coming in, just make me want to yell with glee, immensely uplifting. Very massive. The build is absolutely driving, a little standard, but we all have that. Awesome crash if I haven't said so already(probably have). The snare roll is a little annoying. The climax of the build is mildly satisfying, I'd work on making it more satisfying and exciting.

The main sound, is very full, very uplifting. I love the sound as a whole, its awesome. I love your bassline to death but I do think it could use some more presence.

I could easily hear this song getting slammed in a mix somewhere, its highly danceable(although a little slow).

The leadout is a little boring, though not terribly dull.

Well mate, this track has to be one of my favorites coming from TA. I applaud you and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Wonderful job.

I appreciate the comments guys. I made this in Fruityloops with V-station, Orchestral, and the standard FL plugins. Vocals come from Doru samples. Thanks for listening.

I remember this track a while back. I'm glad to see that you've redone it with a few more finishing touches. I can't remember exactly what it sounded like back then, but here's a few things I'd like to comment.

Plusses!
1. Phat bassline.
2. SWEET introduction. I love the soundtrack feel of it.
3. Guitar was a great idea, but the delay sounds a tad cheap IMO.
4. Airy pads were phatastic.
5. The Supersaw in one way.

Minuses!
1. Lacking in effects during the buidup.
2. The supersaw in another way.
3. The middle breakdown sounded a tad empty in comparison to the intro because there wasn't much to contrast it to.
4. The bassline was a tad lost in the mix, but I'm at a loss for how one could fix it in this regard.
5. The kick sounded somewhat hollow.

All in all, good work. The trance has a bit of a story to tell as well. Good name, btw!

Wow, you've really kept at this track. Amazing work. It could maybe use a little something in the buildup, maybe an additional percussive element or some kind of brief sound or effect coming in and out? Not sure.

The bassline before the breakdown goes D-C-Bb-C, right? Maybe the bassline right after the kick cuts out could go D-C-Bb-G, just to add a little something. That might end up sounding too cheesy, though, I dunno.

Your call, of course. :)
