sorry, dr phil isn't in today.

put them on ebay with a 5day listing. youll then have the money (if u use paypal) within 5 or 6 days ... and if that aint fast enough; make it a 3 day auctions listing. what records do you sell, what style, artist, label, etc.?

depends on what you sold, and where youre after ..

I'm in the same boat with you. I want to sell my Technics and all of my vinyl since they're ancient technology, but I keep them around for sentimental value.

I can't help but cringe a little every time I order a new vinyl. I know it's a format that's on the way out. But nothing relieves stress quite like dropping a sexy stylus onto a fresh vinyl! :D I keep telling myself, "No more records. You're saving for CDJs." But then I start mixing, and it all goes to hell.

Yep I'm selling my decks for sure.

i laugh when people make statements about vinyl like:

"it's a dying technology"
"on the way out..."
etc...

if you think about it, vinyl is the ONLY form of recorded music that has outlasted any competition. it also sounds better than anything else.

my advice, don't sell your records unless you have to. but if you must, just take them into a record store cus you will lose money on shipping costs.

p.s. just because cd's/mp3's/illegal downloading/etc. is cheaper and faster than going to the record store and digging through crates, doesn't mean that it's better. :toothless

That is a matter of opinion.

My opinion is that digital music sounds better from a digital source.

To the poster: don't get rid of your vinyl - you'll never forgive yourself. Go out and sell your arse, but not your vinyl!

There is nothing magical about vinyl.
