yeah, they're probably pointless threads too, but most of them tend to have a bit of substance, or they might inspire some fun/interesting discussions. posting a thread with 10,000 posts of counting numbers is a different story, because there can't really even be subjective opinions over whether it's "fun" or not. it's just a waste of bandwidth.
keep in mind guys, this is the CHILL OUT ROOM, and we're obviously going to see a lot of mindless banter, and we're all going to disagree on where the line might be drawn... but please just read the thread that i linked to in my original post and you'll see what i'm talking about. |

You know i've never had problems with mod's and the way run things around TA.
But you seem to be a perfect example of "ELITISM". The way you Mod the c0r is "bias".
I expect to mods to threat all forum members prefectly equal. |

what are you basing your opinion on? the fact that you got banned for harassing someone who is my "friend"? it'd be the same thing if anyone else was getting harassed... yet you only compare it to the Nou situation which was all happening when i wasn't even a mod.
i'm not here to babysit you kids 24 hours a day, so obviously some that's ban-worthy will get by and i'll never notice because i'm the only one modding COR these days. if i receive a complaint from someone, i do something about it... if i see something happening while i'm browsing, i do something about it... i'm sorry that it seems like i'm unfair, but honestly you don't know 90% of what goes on when i mod these forums so it's pretty silly to make assumptions and accusations based on one time that you got suspended.

you call it strict, i call it trying to clean up around here.
not to mention, when i suspended sherifyosti, i felt it was unfair to suspend ONLY him when Bidor was the one who created the thread and "told" him and other posters to count to 10,000... hopefully Bidor will learn from this and won't create mindless "counting threads" anymore.
if anyone else thinks i'm being unfair, i urge you to read the thread that is linked in my original post. |
