The people at fault are the one's who don't want to take a risk with an "unknown" dj to San Antonio. Does this answer why San Antonio is the way it is now.

So go for lesser-known artists at smaller venues.

like, with whom. seriously.

We can have decent parties but not enough to make money. The Epicentrik parties were bringing in some hard hitting Techno all stars but we didn't make any money from that. But in Canada they kill for Chris Anderson and he isn't even from there.

ok, so what was their any learning experiences from this. i mean, did ya'll do everything ya'll can to fully promote/educate people to whom ya'll were bringing down? the past is the past, but we can learn a few things here and there also a long the way.

Yes learning experience was that venues treat you like even if you make them more money than anyone else throwing shows, and that San Antonio doesn't have enough people who have good taste in music.

There's way's Jake..don't let the Top 40/Pop/Reggaeton hold you down. Those genres will hold their own just for the fact that the radio, MTV type channels, pretty much tell people, "this is what your going to listen to".
progressiveMOJO
DANNY HOWELLS (mothering hell yes)
Lee Burridge
Paolo Mojo
Tiefschwarz
Adam Beyer/Richie Hawtin/Villalobos/Matthew Dear (someone from that minimal techno crowd)
Steve Lawler
Satoshi Tomiie

and of course I'd still be happy if plenty of other people came through. These DJ's would be a special treat though.

Mark Knight
Chris Lake
Jason Jollins

Yeah maybe. I hope you're right too. I'm just really fed up with everything right now.
