cdj200 updates

| Has anyone ever heard of updating your cdj200 with patches from the net or something. Apparently thats what the pioneer certified guy who was fixing my cdj200s said they needed. If so let me know how to do this please. |

yea it is possible to patch by downloading it and putting it on a cd... however i dont know where to get these patches or if they even exist for end-user use...
maybe ask that question here and dj pulse will answer...

| i got in touch with pioneer about this as one of my cdj200 has firmware 1.2 and the other 1.3 and apparently there is no realeased software to update them. so if you do fine an update id be interested in it also. |

| I'm intrigued since I have heard nothing about online updating of the 200. What all do these updates entail, and what, if anything, would the updates actually do? My 200's seem to be running in top form. |

well if its anything like my old numarks then all you do is burn a wav file to an audio cd play it in ur cdjs and it updates them. its very simple.
seems like everyone on the forum is getting tired of waiting for the update, all i want it for is to make the firmwares, not coz they dont work but because im funywth things llike that and liek things to match.
seems like th eupdate will just be improving the mp3 playback sumthing to do with the way sum mp3s skip cue points becuase of the way their frames are made up. it explains eerything on the forum in detail, but i cant see the update offering much more than that. |

I remember when you were looking for cdj200s, how much did you pay for them in the end? |

£699 that was with a numark dm950usb mixer which i sold straight away.
put them on credit buy now pay in 6 months dj_kane did this too with his cdj800mk2.
was a bit of mistake. just paid them off TODAY in fact and managed to avoid any interest charges :D
wuld of been 30% apr = lose
but i win! :happy2: |
