The advertising pissed me off way too bad. And believe me when I say, Australian advertising is the ing bottom of the filled, maggot infested pit. Not just 'annoying' but utter .
While I lived in the UK, I saw some pretty cool ads. Well thought out and creative. Even a lol here and there, that wasn't directed and the sheer lameness. And they limit their advertising levels per hour pretty well.
But here, it makes me want to punch things.

Yeah the newest trend seems to be that they try to annoy you into remembering their product and/or service. It's sad if that actually works.

although not holiday related, those citi card commercials are probably the worst damn commercials Ive ever seen. The ones with the guy that I guess is Russian saying how he earns points.
Isnt it rule number one in adverts to be able to understand what the people are saying?
stupid ass companies. I bet the ad agency proposed an awesome campaign and they chose those piece of commercials.
