Ta Party In Long Beach (pg. 20)

well for the indoor setup, we have 2 pioneer cdj1000mk2's, and a pioneer djm600. 2 event monitors (rene)
for outdoors we have 2 pioneer cdj200's, and a numark dxm06 mixer.
we just need confirmation on what sound equipment people are bringing. And we need to know if anybody can bring some turntables for those wanting to spin with vinyl.

I am willing to bring 1 sl-1200 mk2, I wont be using it but if someone else will bring another TT then we are set.
I think i'll be able to get those home theater speakers to play well, might need some fine tuning. |

| i may bring the speakers/receiver i mentioned and mixer dxm06 and possibly 1 turntable 1200mk2, but i might have to leave early which would mean my gear would be going too which would be a bust for those that plan on spinning vinyl. i dont have a safe way of transporting the turntable since i dont have coffins. at the moment plz count me out for bringing equipment since i may have to leave early, but ill bring a cooler and im sure other TA's have coolers to bring as well |

do you have 2 turntables? i can bring 1, that way if my carpool has to leave early there will still be a pair of decks for the vinyl crew.
or can i suggest that those spinning vinyls go first before the cdj crew that way i can bring 2 decks (if my carpool doesnt back out for the event) and they will be brought in their original boxes haha. |

I only have 1 atm, (using to record all my vinyl :D )

well reading back on previous pages a couple people said they would bring records. if theres only 1 deck and 2 cdj's i guess those that are spinning vinyl burn half of their songs onto cds or record them onto cds if they can. that or record a mix and just play it thru the cdj and pretend to mix. joke on the pretending to mix
id probably be flamed for playing dnb since my trance mixing is rusty unless the folks dont mind the occasional beatclash. just drink more, itl sound better :stongue: |

my carpool, the one that linked me this event, said he would wake at 2pm and then tell me if he decides to go or not. and since hes a wuss he might say "nah i changed my mind". and if he decides to go, then itl be 3 by the time we (mostly him) get ready and leave. and then im sure hes going to want to leave by 9 at the latest. what a party pooper its giving me a headache.
and aoe2 prefix just ignore it. i was addicted to that game a long time ago. now its just junkie. i guess i will go to sleep and wake around 10 and see whats up with the outside setup. if im right theres no soundsystem and i cant commit on bringing any gear damn carpool. i have no cd's at all and not enough time to use the computer to record songs from vinyl to cd. unless someone has one of those ipod mixer dj things i could bring my laptop and sync my ipod to another person willing to sync their ipod to what i have on mine. then i just might get by on 1 deck for dnb. trance will be a problem if i decide to play it at all. im tired and rambling blame the carpool party pooper cause hes afraid of people he doesnt know that are showing up for an event that is of common interest and since he doesnt drink alcohol he thinks it will be weird to be at a party where some people are drinking. clocking out now. |

Wow ok, well if it helps I will bring ALL my cds and if there are any that you know you are welcome to use them. If you don't mind me asking where are you heading out from?
