Would you say your life was based around these principles?
Frenchie
No.

But it should be.
Yan
Okay.

The CORe is officially MESSED UP tonight. What the is with the threads and random replies?

I'm freaked the out. Doesn't help that I'm sleep deprived.
Halcyon+On+On
Sure, but not these, alone. A complete human being is one who centres themselves around all attitudes and embraces several opposing branches of thought at one time and, perhaps most of all, recognizes this.

If all you try and focus on is the good stuff, you are going to find yourself lacking in many experiences which could lead to a much greater understanding than one could ever attain when only focusing on the positive.

Probably doesn't know what PLUR stands for.

Peace, Love, Unity and Respect incase anyone's wondering. Supposedly the principles of dance music culture probably inspired through the feelings of togetherness on ecstacy at raves.

No, in fact it's probably closer to the opposite.

Peace? Meh, a life without conflict would be pretty damn boring if you ask me.

Love? Ok, there's nothing wrong with love, but you essentially love/like/dislike/hate things in strictly relative terms, so it's pretty much going to be a wash in the end no matter how you try to go about this one...

Unity? Yeah that's just about the opposite of how I live my life.

Respect? Is earned.

Kinda-sorta, not really.

k, well as I started this thread I may as well type my own input...

Peace: Yes, most of the time. In an ideal world I'd like it to be all the time but that's just not possible with some people.

Love: No, would like to live by the principle of love for everyone but there's just too many pricks in this world for this to be possible :(

Unity: Dunno really, depends on how you define it. Do I believe in teamwork for example? Yeah sure... :)

Respect: I want and like to respect everyone whoever they are unless they piss me off somehow or let me down.
