Charlie: what is it that you dont understand.
THERE WILL BE NO TRANCE AT ALL ON THAT PARTICULAR NIGHT AT METROPOLIS
James Holden has not spun trance since he realised trance sucks donkey balls (around 2003). He then realised: hey, lets reinvent trance, which he did.
But there will be no Tiesto/PVD/Armin/Searching-for-sunrises-and-birds crap.
This night is organised by Piknic electronik and MUTEK.
There will be a James Holden DJ set

I dont know what you guys are on about but I had a blast when he came to Aria, one of my best nights there and only because of the music he spun, don't really remember his techniques behind the decks but it wasn't that bad coz I would of remembered (ahem like Felix Housecat lol).
A lot of people left but those who stayed were loving it and some of my friends werent on drugs so you dont have to take them to enjoy his sound.
The darker the better I say, although a lot of his latest isn't anywhere near as dark as he can be.
So happy to hear this will be an all-nite event :D

Unfortunately Holden himself HATES the sound pre border community (balance 005) and doesn't even want to be judged by anything prior to the launch of BC.
Kinda funny all you guys like what he doesn't and felt pressured to release :p
