I assume you haven't heard of other somewhat similar situations in other much less "Puritan" countries...
In most countries it is expected for the Misses who represent the country to be perfect and flawless in every possible way.
It's unfortunate that things went this far with the Miss Usa situation but drinking underaged is still well ... not legal which is clearly contrary to this desired image of perfection from the contestants. |

I don't know, I find the whole thing so grotesque and creepy, it's not even funny anymore. Tony Blair's 16-year-old son got piss drunk a few years ago, but everyone in Britain just laughed about it and said "it's all part of growing up and learning". There was no ing hysteria about it. |

Dude if you dislike me so much why the do you keep replying to me? Note that I haven't insulted you a single time, but you've insulted me 3 or 4 times. Just ignore me, how hard is that?!
