Hi!..im new here..so about this song ive already posted it on another trance forum just that i couldnt get any oppinions from those ppl ..i just wanna know if the track its ok or just rubbish ..thank you in advance

the kick doesn't work, it lacks punch, you may need to layer a few kicks. |

Heres one way to do kicks:
I find one with a good thud, and lowpass it up to the low mids, then get a kick with some good mids, high pass it over the low kick to where it sounds good, then high pass it somewhere.
Then get a kick with a nice high punch and high pass it over the mid kick and move the eq around til it sounds good.
It sounds good sometimes if you set some 2ms delay on the mid/high kick. |
