Anyone got this controller and know what the real time scratching feels like/how effective it is with such a small platter/jog wheel!?
the videos on you tube etc give no examples of decent scratching with it |

For DJ equipment. Apparently they do other equipment thats not supposed to be too bad.
However, apparently their monitors are OK. |

their guitar/bass amplifiers are worthless too.
it's cheap as hell, and in this business you get what you pay for 99% of the time. |

| From my experience their studio/live sound kit is actually very good value for money, it's just their DJ mixers that they went horribly wrong with. The BCD2000 is actually meant to be ok as well, but I'd wait for an opinion from someone who's actually owned/used one. |

| The scratching wont be useful for doing anything except making anoying noises. |

I still own a DJX700. It still works fine, I've never had a problem with it. It's been through hell and back. Was built like a tank, only think that sucks on it are the efx. Worst EFX i've ever heard. All the faders and EQ's are no worse than that of the DJM 600's or 800's. People put it down because they havn't used it, or have used the EFX only and immediately went to saying it was garbage. When you've mixed on it for some time, and have had experience with other mixers you know it's the same without the EFX.
The older models were ass, but the newer ones were awesome. |
