several romanian people have tried renting apartments from my parents and we've just said no because we fear we're going to get swamped with all their "cousins" "children" etc
each time we said no, a couple days later magically appears another romanian person who wants to rent who happens to be cousins with the other person etc

If your a landlord you cannot let your tenants take the piss. My mate got so angry he called me and a couple of others mate to sort out the Romanians next door.
It didn't end up in violence, but at the end of the day shouting down your phone in the garden at 5am is uncalled for I would of certainly told them that don't happen on my shift. |

Yeah. To me American accents sound either annoying (southern, New York, etc.) or neutral ("broadcast American English"). The midwestern (Minnesota / Wisconsin / etc.) accent is kind of cute in a quaint way, but not sexy really... |

I have always been partial to Australian accents.
But I have this whole Australia fascination.... /shrug.
America has a large number of accents, the problem is that most fall into regional umbrella categories like "Wisconsin/Minnesota" someone mentioned. People in MN have a noticibly different accent than people in Wisconsin even though most people think they are the same. Just like people from Alabama and Arkansas are noticably different but are both "southern".

| there is this girl i work with, we are friends and what not anwyways she's swedish but she lives in the UK and she's got this hot accent that is like a mixture of both...i could listen to her talk all day its so hot! |
