Hi everyone.
I am about to sell my trusty Yamaha 01x. The interfaces I am looking at are:
Motu 2408
Focusrite Sapphire Pro
Mackie Onyx 400F
RME Fireface
I have read many good things about all four of these and was hoping if anyone here has any experience with any of them, particularly running with XP.
Thanks alot

The fireface has the best converters and sound of the group you mentioned.
They are all firewire except the 2408. |

Hey mate, not gonna be of too much help to you but I went from a Delta 1010LT to a mate's 01X, and now currently using a Mackie 828mk2. You will not believe the difference between the 01X and a quality interface lol. |

I have firewire 410, and I'm happy with it.. The only thing I dont like are ty buttons for volume. |

Why the MOTU 2408? It's probably fine given MOTU's reputation with the other mixers, but if you don't want to be comparing apples to oranges then you should be looking at MOTU's firewire box, the 828mkII. I'd recommend either that one or the RME. |

PreSonus FireBox, mobile cheap and excellent quality, except the 9 pin SPDIF breakout cable is hard to find if you don't get one already with it. I use it to sample dvd's and NES game soundtracks. |
