My familiy and i decided to go to niagara falls to check out the lights yesterday while it was still warm. its really something wonderful and everyone should try to make it out, especially with this warm weather. the have so many moving figures from dinosaurs, noahs ark, bears, disney characters, and much more. it runs all along the park area at the falls and into dufferin islands wehre they have a lot of the lights. they do ask for a small donation of $5 per car for upgrades of lights and such for next year, which is reasonable. here are some pictures i took. the only thing i regret is not having the fireworks which are this friday and everyday between christmas and new years.

The magic is somewhat missing without snow. Isn't it? I love Niagara area during festival of lights. |

Damn. Haven't been to the Falls in years.
I just found out like 2 days ago that they can actually shut off the flow of Niagara falls from stations up the river. So I guess that's how they install those light thingies.
Crazy! |

i agree. its soooo much nicer when its cold. the mist falls on the ground and creates an ice sheet which looks amazing during a sunny day with blue skies. |

I took DJ Orkidea there a couple years back and with my special hookups, we changed the light colors on the Falls. Kinda cool to go back to Finland and say you did that. |

festival of lights is always a good time. it's much better when there is snow on the ground and you can walk it tho. much more pretty.
