I work in retail too, and I've met my share of s, but nothing as bad as that. Although I have to say that I love it when somebody plays the race card when something doesn't go their way, then I just can't help it and bust out laughing and they feel like a complete jackass.
On a side note, Best Buy is the devil. |

I deal with a lot of financial advisors and the like over the phone, on Monday one of them was a complete about some work I'd prepared for him. All of his own fault mind you, I'm happy to take criticism (even if it is unjustified) but then he got plain abusive and I told him in a calm and collected manner that I was about to hang up on him and I did. When you are dealing with colleagues, customers or the ilk and they get abusive you'll usually get 100% support from your superiors if you choose to eject them or refuse to deal with them. The stupid thing in my case with the financial advisor was he really needed my help to get him out of the he was in and I'm the only person in the firm who can do what he needs and now I refuse to deal with him! His loss and it is no skin off my nose! |

I nearly got a teacher fired for doing that. He made a racist remark to an international student and I complained to the principal. That sort of is really uncalled for, and I think it's everyone's duty to stand up against racial discrimination whenever they see it happening... It really makes my blood boil.:whip:
PS - I'm blonde with blue eyes so I've never been discriminated against :p |
