Just got this on their email list
http://www.m3news.net/dec2006.html

So that's kinda lame
The master list was really helpful...
I was never really sure, but were they actually responsible for any of the parties?

Seems to me like they are gonna have to change their name if they aren't doing anything in Miami anymore. Dumbasses

M3 to Take Sabbatical from Miami Beach in March 2007

As a valued supporter of Miami Music Multimedia we wanted to be the first to tell you that M3 will not be returning to Miami Beach during conference week 2007. The reasons for which are two fold.

On the financial side, substantial increases in event costs and limited outdoor hotel space for events like ours during next years Miami music week have challenged our privately held company and would necessitate a substantial increase in registration fees to our devoted fans. Something M3 is not wiling to do at this time.

On the logistics side, a prominent national event production company has approached Miami Music Multimedia in a partnership capacity and is interested in helping grow our brand by investing all of its resources in our young company. This alliance will require ample re-organization and preparation time and will reap significant rewards and increased opportunities in the future for all concerned.

In it’s short three year history M3 has worked tirelessly to reinvent the way the world looks at Miami music week, presenting a diverse mix of cutting edge entertainment and products combined with high-level business exchanges. And, our annual event has garnered significant critical acclaim and praise as a forward-thinking, international gathering. True to our purpose we look forward to building on what’s already been accomplished by combining music, technology and fashion as an integrated lifestyle and we hope that our supporters will stand by our side and join us in the future.

In the short term, should you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact us at [email protected]. And on behalf of the entire M3 partnership we are grateful for your support of and belief in our event and we look forward to moving ahead, together, as one.

That kinda sucks, but if I recall the M3 list always took WAAAAAAAY too long to be released. It got to the point this past wmc that I already had my entire week planned out before the list was published. It didn't change my schedule a bit.

ok.. Maybe your big party parties were planned.

But I liked it for the free lounging day/night parties.

It's a great reference.

Sucks :(

You can get the same information on the official WMC website which always has a full listing of all events going on during conference.

AFAIK, M3 List had way more parties listed - since the only ones listed on the WMC site gave you some perks if you had a WMC badge.

If I am not mistaken, on "The List" there were parties that had the perks for the badge and others that didn't.
Sucks about the M3, next year had better be insane or they need to pack up and ship out.
