fill a cup with water 12 oz., put a spoon inside and proceed to drink the water while your forehead holds the end of the handle of the spoon...drink all the water...

I have taught myself a technique of stopping the hiccups by mind control. :)
Not joking. I can teach you the method and you can try that too. |

it can be tea, or beer...any liquid as long as it is about 12 oz = a beer bottle :tongue2 |

i swear this isn't a made up story...
anyway, so i was a huge calvin & hobbes fan when i was little and there was this one comic strip in one of my books about calvin having the hiccups, and i think hobbes told him to (or maybe it was the other way around and calvin told hobbbes, who had hiccups) put his lips on the opposite side of the glass of water, lean forward (like bending over) and drink the water while upside down sort of...
didn't work out in the comic, but i tried it when i had hiccups, and it works for the most part...no joke. lol |

throatpunch.
but seriously, a large amount of any liquid will relieve the diaphragm's spasms. the spoon is just for show. |
