I went and pick myself a ticket. Its a golden card and its really fancy. Cost me 60$. Tiesto is playing at midnight. Anybody else going to this? SummerWolf Alright... So i moved back to montreal a month ago, some stuff happened and didnt go to resolution and found out about tiesto playing at Time last night. Never been there so i didnt know what to expect. Alright, the place... i hate it. F*** rich pricks acting like they own the fu*** world and f***ng pushing everybody around. Like off, we all got money. It was way too packed, no room to dance... although i was able to find myself a little corner by the front door and dance there most of the night, had to push some people around to make sure nobody came to stand in that spot tho... Some of the staff were nice but most of them were freaking pricks. Im sorry to all the people that may like this place but i honestly dont know how the hell some people like to be there... what you want to be seen with rich people? You want to pick up a rich guy/girl? ... im so pissed off. As for tiesto, well... he sucked. Im a huge fan of his old stuff. Last time i saw play was 2000-2001. Huge difference. Last night was boring, he played a few hits but the rest just sucked... and ... i cant remember one of the last song but most people just started to look around going like wtf... Oh ya wasnt that suppose to be a charity for Dance 4 Life? Unless he played it while i was smoking, i didnt even hear the track. A very disapointed and angry Wolf... kreamy I had a good time there last night. Ya there was a significant prick presence among the people and the staff (especially at front door) but wtv its time and I've learned to accept it. Tiesto started off on the right foot but he then drifted into things i never thought he would ever play. I was kinda let down on one or two songs but most of the time i was having a good time dancing away. What i really want to know is who was the dj spinning before and after tiesto. He was really good and I would like to know what the before last song he played before tiesto came on. That song rocked the bloody place. All in all, a good time @ time. DJ Charlie Review: It was a somehow weird night. My friends and I got there at 10 to not face a huge line up at the doors. At first the bouncers were almost "choosing" who was next to get in. So you can figure it looked like Tribe's first opening night. rich ******s and there bitches first. Not even had to show them they bought tickets. after like 20min of this bull, some old man who runs the club i guess went out and said to the bouncer "hey man come on, we want to fill this place, its a special night. Whoever bought tickets has to get in." THANK YOU ! Suddenly, the bouncer says to the people waiting, "Who has tickets ?" lol thank god that man told the bouncer how to do his job cause I can't even imagine how bad people would have complained about this. Alright we're in ! the place is filling up slowly now, we decide to take a drink to celebrate. 10$ a drink and if there's vodka in it its 12! WTF ok I thought it was a charity night, not a robbery night. Come on, 1 ounce of alcohol 10$. worst than that, I ordered a Gin 7up which wasn't even well fill and it tasted like rusted water. I bet the barmaid served me water instead of 7up in the drink. so 10$ for a glass of water........... with ice ! The place was packed by midnight and people were still getting in all night. If you were in the front there was no way you could have danced. Too many groupies wanted to feel Tiesto's magic. Us, we stayed in the back near the entrance. We had reasonable space to dance all night. TIESTO: ...where was tiesto ? Seriously, did they hired some guy with a Tiesto mask of his huge face ? Like wtf, no Trance at all. He played prog all night. I'm not kidding. The trancier track he played was Traffik. :wtf: Ok, his progressive set was "great" even with lots of cheese, but personaly, he played like how I think a club dj should play. Yes, if club djs could play like this instead of the top 40 crap or mainstream house, Montreal would be an awesome place to party. He played from 12:10 to 2:15. Thats right, only 2 hours. The funniest thing is that when the resident dj went back on. Nobody noticed that it wasn't tiesto. I believe tiesto closed his set with traffik. I didn't heard a single person shouting "TIESTO TIESTO" that night. Only Bertuzz and his funny drunk friend yelling "ARMIN" and "FERRY". hahaha bro imagine if Tiesto heard you. I also saw Louis and Louis (louis_who I guess). Dom_DK was also there. Beside them, I didn't see other TAs. Overall: was this night worth 60$ ? no ! Was it fun ? somehow yes. Do I regret not going to Resolution to see Tiesto at Time ? I regret wasting money on Tiesto !!! Yes you read well.
