I'll echo this guy's thoughts:

Are these releases, settign the tone for a year full of surprises? |

| I'm with Cobalt on this one. Sounds rather dull, and definitely not something i'd expect to be released on a quality label like Kompakt. |

| I enjoy the content, it sounds better than any trance release out(though i prefer his transmat releases). i can give a whoot if its on kompakt or so so label.. |

whoever said it was trance is a moron..
imho it's more along the lines of disco fused techno with a dabble of house thrown in there. |

Nice trancer by Aril Brikha! Now if we could get more trance like this, it would be heaven all over again. Its good though that he doesn't care about the techno purists and does what he really wants...i remember in an interview once saying that he would like to take a more "trancier" approach in his music. So, it was true then...lol. "Bergain" is also nice. Sounds like a cross between Model 500, Maurizio and something more trancier.Which is great.
Anyway i find it more interesting then the previous basic chanel-like, detroitish stuff he was doing which were just cool but nothing great IMO. Now if he stays with this sound, i think he could create something really special...Time will tell. |
