Who on earth could you kill without ramifications?
If there were no repercussions / ramifications for killing someone what's the point? Them being dead would be the direct result of your actions and you feeling better because you hated them would be a repercussion. In the situation you described you'd stand over the corpse emotionless and go about your day as if nothing had happened.
Without creating any ramifications, the negative impact this person had on your life that lead you to murder in the first place wouldn't change, so nothing has been solved.

Now, with the world being what it is, could I kill someone? No clue, but if my motive was hatred, death is pretty far down the list in terms of punishment or vengeance, so I doubt that would be my solution to the problem. |

I know I could never kill. I've injured people before, accidentally of course, and it still weighs pretty heavily on my conscience. Regardless that I had no control over how it happened, I think about the pain and anguish I caused that person and his family - just over a broken arm. I can't imagine what goes through the mind of someone who has taken another human life, intentionally or not, and I'd never care to.
That being said, if any of you bastards ever tries to steal my Reese's, I will kill you. |

I might be able to kill someone if he was trying to kill me or kill one of my friends. No way I could do it otherwise, though.
