problem w/ technics tone arm... help.

| One of my tone arms is f'd up. If you look inside where you would screw in the cartridge, there are four gold contacts that connect to the four points on the back of the cartridge. There should be a spring or something behind them, but one of them has lost the spring and is stuck pushed in all the way so it won't touch the needle. I'm sure I'm not the first person with this trouble. Anyone know a cheap way to fix this? |

| eh tone arms are cheap as hell, anyone know how to remove the old one :) |

If your good with electronics and the likes, use google to find out how to do it properly and do it yourself.
You may not even need a new tone-arm it may just be stuck.
If your only semi confident then just take it in to a tech. |

| Get someone to do it for you. |

| yea panasonic (makes technics) has a place like 15 minutes away from me, i'm going to see if they have a repair center |
