Anyway no because stuttering is tacky.

I actually predict that this release will make the stutter edit more accessible to more producers, thus making it more widely used. After a while, people will get tired of glitch, and the producers will be forced to find either new things to do with it, or find something different to focus on.

LOL @ "people can't pirate Mac software".

Jex: I realize that BT isn't actually doing the coding, although I can see why someone might have inferred that from my post. The point is that most good software is designed by, er, software designers and programmers (with occasionally some help on the UI side). BT has made himself the software "architect" so to speak, but he's never had any experience as one.

It remains to be seen if he truly understands and can apply the concept of accessibility to normal users, rather than having it custom-built and configured for his personal use, thus rendering it essentially useless to you or I. The fact that he says he *only* wants an AU already speaks volumes as to how he may have been letting his personal whims get in the way of good design.

Maybe it'll be a great product, I don't know. I'm just applying the Peter Principle to music here: EDM fans think they can DJ, DJs think they can produce, producers think they can write plugins/programs... everybody keeps pushing the envelope but eventually has to hit a limit.

well my mistake then. I guess I underestimated how badly people dont want to pay for things.

Fair enough. I guess I have faith in his ability. The TBU interview made the whole process look fairly simple. If it's just AU, though, I won't be able to do much about it, I suppose.

Why?

Why?

Are you asking "why" to the former part of that, or the latter?

It as a whole.
Lunar Phase 7
I remember BT saying that a track of TBU took some 200 pages of code to write in a program called Cmusic (not too sure on the name) so maybe he isnt too bad at coding and with all his experience he prolly knows exactly what is and isnt needed in a plugin.

But I am unsure, does anyone know how difficult it was to code his tune, I mean was it a case of literally writing code for sounds, or just coding instructions or what?
