I was curious what paul spun @ Space afterwards, and how was the afterparty in general? Could not go, as was completely knackered and 18.

Heh, i was there till about 4 am. I couldnt' stay longer cuz i had to catch a flight the same day but anyhow...
Right b4 pvd took stage at 2am, i remember them fogging up the whole dayam club to a point where u couldn't see anything. Me and a friend of mine were waiting right at the door of the dj booth so we can see and possibly shake his hand. He was surrounded by 5 other guys and a girl (possibly his wife) that went up to the booth with him. I couldn't exactly make out the face on the people cuz of the fog and like 10 other ppl around me couldn't either. The bouncers wouldn't let us get close enuff. But it was him and as soon as he got on the stage place went nutz. It wasn't as packed in htere as i expected it to be tho. I guess cuz it was only 21+
While i was there, in the beginning, he didnt play any tracks that i knew the names of... he was just dropping hard assss beats for the first hour or so... which were still awesome, but i didnt hear any tracks that i recognized from his past cd's or live sets. Since it was a 6 hr set, he probably was saving all his fav tracks for the last few hrs. Sadly i wasn't able to stay longer.
Oh, and i went there all early and shiet cuz i thought it would be sold out. When i got there at the opening of the club, there were only like 20 ppl in line. And i saw people coming in at 2am right when pvd was spinning. It was really a pain in da ass standing up for 5 hrs waiting for pvd to come on especially right after a long day at Ultra. I wish he could of came on at midnite or 1 |

PvD sucked Sunday night @ Space, so don't feel bad....
I didn't go but 2 good friends of mine who are hard-core PvD fans (who flew down JUST to see him), said the set was horrible.... for the first hour he spun all weird- (non-typical PvD stuff), then it was a bunch of HOUSE MUSIC for a couple of hours... .after that they left.
Take that how you want, but that is almost a direct quote.

| I went around 6-8am sunday morning while deep dish was spinning but didn't actually get in because of the line... I guess there were too many in the club. once every 20 minutes they would open the ropes for 3 seconds...what a crash...on top of that the cover was $50.:mad: |
