No problem. :) I'm listening to it now. I'm about 22 minutes in.

Downloading. I grabbed several Static Blue mp3s from his site the other day, so I am confident I will enjoy this mix. :D

Alrighty, just got through the mix. I jotted down some notes.

At about 6:54, there is a very good transition, but the crash was noticably louder than the outgoing track, so it was a bit noticable. No biggie. Nice when the bassline comes in at 7:22. :)

At about 14:40, the kick sounds distorted for a few seconds. Not sure if this is an EQ problem on your end or if it was in the original track. Another nice transition though.

at 26:00, and about 50:00, there are some strange key clashes, but they aren't too offensive. Just noticable. But being that this is a tribute mix, you don't exactly have a whole lot to choose from, so I feel it was done very well. :)

At around the 50:35 mark, there seems to be a drastic reduction in volume. The track sounds a little thinner than the previous tracks, and that rides out through the remainder of the set. Kinda causes it to lose a bit of the energy.

Overall, I really enjoyed this set. You mixed it well and it was enjoyable to listen to. Very solid. Thanks for sharing it. I hope that one day, someone will find my tracks desirable enough to make a tribute mix of them, hehe. Great job, man. What did you use to mix?

Also, if you can be bothered, I'd greatly appreciate a review of my latest mix, which you can get to by clicking the picture in my sig. I decided to try something housey though, but hopefully you wouldn't mind... :)

Hey mate ya thanks, i noticed after listening to it a few more times some of those things you pointed out, but it was to late to go back and fix it, that mix at 26 mins, i noticed that right away but i was debating whether or not i liked it,

and yes i was having some problems with the eq and stuff, as i basically did this set on the spot and i had picked up most of the tracks a few days before so i didnt really practice the set just popped em in and played

as for what i use,

Cdj,s
Ableton
Vinyl

i mainly use cdjs right now, with the odd vinyl in the mix, ableton im still learning to use as i find it a tought programs really complex in a sense
