The best prezzie of all was, well here's the story, my cousin is a missionary workin from Sweden and is working currently at an orphanage in Cambodia. She came home, just for christmas! it was the best! I haven't seen her for years, I was so happy to see her smiling face! |

I went in circles for a week on choices as I had to retire the firebird as it has 270,000 km on it
I tried to get a bmw 3 series , but although payments were good they wanted 4000 down (pre delivery inspection is 1700 alone , add freight etc and a 0 down lease is still $4K on delivery)
this was the case also with all european imports so I then went the Japanese route
Tried a Toyota FJ cruiser , but between bad gas milage , needing premium gas and hadling like a pig I gave up on that , tried Honda and liked the accord coupe , but found out they are coming out with a new one next year.
Almost got a mustang GT in yellow that was demo at ford dealership , $9,000 off list , but I really didn't want another rwd coupe especially since i am getting out of one (the Fbird) and i have 2 corvettes in storage already.
finally (or so I thought ) I settled on a Pontiac G6 convertible
loved the retractable top , but payments were real high for not a lot of car
Anyway I finally went to look at what Cheverolet had to offer and since my buddy's dad owns the dealership , I might get a good deal
well I saw a Black Cadillac CTS that they had in the showroom (they are also a caddy dealership)and it was love at first sight
So 20 minutes and a lot of haggling latter I was the proud owner of a loaded black on black leather cadillac CTS |

I got real lucky this year, ended up getting
A Nintendo DS Lite (my favourite gift... the one I wanted the most!)
Mario Kart DS for my Nintendo DS
The book "Next" by Michael Crichton (in hardback... his latest novel that just came out
The books "Eragon" and "Eldest" in the "Inheritance" series by Christopher Paolini (in hardbacks, a box set)
"Smitten" -a kitten's guide to happiness- by Rachael Hale (a cute little kitty photographs hardbook)
An excellent "T-fal" frying pan (I ing ♥ it)
2 nice new bath towels (in bayou blue, same colour as my car!)
A 100% polyester blanket for my bed (awesome)
A new content down (basically like a new comforter for my bed... its soooooooooooo ing soft and nice! my god!!!)
2 new pairs of Joe Boxers
$120 in total from mom/dad, gran and grandpa
An Innovage compact portable speaker system (to use with my iPody)
Some personalized "James" pens (4 of them)
Some Slowpokes (chocolate) (LOL that ones for you Lucas!)
and come gold coin chocolates
A very good chrimstas indeed for me.
With some of that money I've already bought myself YOSHI'S ISLAND for the DS, plus two movies, "She's the Man" and "Club Dred", both on sale. |
