Well one day, I decided to browse my MP3 library, and came across some track I hadn't listened to for ages.
These tunes were great when i first got them, but got neglected as the library expanded. It was refreshing to hear them again, and I recommend u peeps do the same as well.
I was listening to
SHOKK - Isn't it a little Strange
DJ Tiesto -ISOS2
Tiesto live at Trance ENergy 2000
Alice DJ - Better Off Alone (Signum rmx)
Ayu - Trauma (dumonde rmx)
VdM - Eternity
ITs great what u find in your archives! :) |

I organise my MP3's into directories as follows. MP3's start by getting downloaded into a temp folder waiting to get sorted. They then get renamed into some good lookin' format. I then have folders named after years then folders with years inside those. Depending on when the mp3 was downloaded depends on which directory the choon is stored. At the end of each month I burn the months downloads on to cd for backup purposes. That is just the way of the mp3 on my machine.

yes.
I just d/l into 'unsorted' where they go through the immunization and sterilization process (renaming & ID3 stripping.) Next theyre hauled off into their respective genre's folder. then in the event that the file is a single, it goes into the single folder for that genre. if it is part of an albumn, it goes into a folder as such: artist - album.
And of course, i love to find those gems you forgot about a few years back!!! I have like 4000 songs and its so easy to come across some track i havent heard for ages. :D

I'm just wondering how many of you ppl d/l tracks first and then listen to them in detail?
This is whatr I do and I end up deleting almost half the stuff that I originally d/l'ed from AG since there are a LOT of tracks that are only mediocre out there on the web. |
