It's kinda frustrating when people ask you who your favourite actor is and no one seems to know about this person you admire so much. This is the thread where you can write about your underrated idol, and tell others how obscure their choices are(n't) :D
Here's mine:
Kou Shibasaki
She was featured in two of my favourite films ("Battle Royale", "Go") and she actually did a pretty good job in "Missed Call", although the film wasn't exactly great. And, on top of that, she can also sing (it seems), and her debut song is one of my favourite songs ever:
I can't understand the sentences in English, though :p

My problem is that I have a lot of favorite actors. I'm not real partial to any actresses really. Well, at least not for their acting :)
Chiwetal Ejiofer -- An emerging actor, but brilliant.
Don Cheadle -- Watch Ocean's 11 and then Hotel Rwanda. That can't be the same actor.
Djimon Hounsou -- No one puts more emotion into acting.
Edward Norton -- Versatile.
Daniel Day-Lewis -- Transforms into character.
Philip Seymour-Hoffman -- So flexible.
Morgan Freeman - He should narrate every movie with that voice.
Anthony Hopkins -- A master.
Brad Pitt -- Say what you will about the man, but he can flat-out act.
Clive Owen -- He's coming up quickly, imo.
Leonardo DiCaprio -- I used to hate him, but now just can't.
Denzel Washington -- Duh.
and last but not least:
Jimmy Stewart -- Nobody did it better.

Someone that isn;t super famous that I like though would have to be D.B. Woodside from Buffy Season 7 and 24 Season 3-5 aka the Principal in Buffy and the brother of the president in 24.
