Bah, the worst are the guys that work at these places, they are so unhelpful that its not even funny anymore. Im going back out there today and seeing a few more stores, if not Im gonna wait another week. |

Release of the Wii didn't really seem a problem here. I was able to preorder it (3 weeks before the releasedate) and got it as soon as it was out.
Most people I know got theirs on time too.

| not wii-related but nintendo-related... i planned on buying a ds lite today... and all 5 stores didn't have any in stock.. wtf? :wtf: i thought it was only the wii and the ps3 that were hard to get... well i guess i'll try and order a ds lite online instead |

They worked after I went upstairs a second time :p
Unforutnately since the controllers are bluetooth connections, they aren't going to work perfectly everytime you turn the console on. You just have to play with unplugging the system and replugging it back in, waiting a little bit, and trying EVERY single remote. It will eventually work, and my friend actually has only had the problem once.
(That's for future reference of course.) |

| I've had my copy of Twilight Princess for a few days now, but I cannot for the life of me find a Wii. Been to every place I can think of within 20 miles over the last few days. Frickin' impossible to find. If I wouldn't have spent $50 on Twilight Princess already, I probably would have just stopped looking. |

hahah niceeeeee!! Hey that Opera browser isn't too bad. they need to iron out some java and video playback stuff but otherwise it's great.

Wii are definitely harder to find than PS3....
I just got myself a 60gig PS3 this past monday along with Resistance: Fall of Man + Ridge Racer 7 at Best Buy ....they had about 12 laying in a cage and the sales person told me they had 30 in on sunday
My goal is to land a Wii this sunday at the same place
