Tried to turn on my TT today and it wouldnt turn on, it was working fine couple of days back. Called a friend and he said to turn the on/off knob around and it will come off, and use a plyer to turn the knob inside and see if it works.
managed to get the knob off and the yellow thing inside just kinda went inside the hole and and the knob wont fit back..
Can someone tell me if its possible to get the small yellow thing to come back up and would some technician be able to figure out what is wrong with it and fix the problem of it not coming on? is it something big that i should be worried about. It was working fine last time i tried it and it been over 2 weeks since i turned it back on.
BTW i've got a technic 1200MKII.

May just be a blown fuse. You really shouldn't hack at it with plyers - not a good move.
Check for a fix for the on/off via google I know I've seen it before but I can't remember where. It requires dismantling and finding the little clip that holds the shaft in place. This prevents it from dropping back inside the TT.
you'll need to pull the deck appart to get to both the fuse and the on/off components.
