I watched two women who (I assume) were in their 50's get into a fist fight in Best Buy over a digital camera today!!! Funniest thing I've seen all year!!! Doesn't the holidays bring out the best in people? :D

Went to Futureshop at about 6pm, it was dead, picked up that 2GB Cruzer Micro for 40 bones. I was in and out in about 45 seconds.

unfortunately i didn't have the option to shop or not on boxing day. i HAD to work. at futureshop of all places, for 14 hours of madness.

when i got to work at 4:30 am, the line was approximately 300 people. by the time we opened at 6 am, the line had quadrupled. i have worked many boxing days, but it has never been THAT long.

other then the craziness, everything seemed to run fairly smoothly. no fist fights like previous years, the systems didn't crash, and the lineup and crowd control was pretty good. our location had the best day we've ever had in the 10+ years we've been open.

i got home, went straight to bed, and slept for 12 hours.
