That same friend can't eat or sleep anymore because of speed (she stays up for weeks even though she's not always on it, she just can't eat or sleep when sober ever too). She's constantly sick and all she ever thinks about is her drug, even though ever day she says she feels like she's dying. Been in and out of jail and rehab lots, been raped in jail and over her drug, and the day she gets out it's always back to the needle.
That is what it is to be an addict. |
