Idea for my setup

I have an idea for my setup at home, it was just something I thought of last week, but I would like to run it by you experts before I go ahead with it.
At the moment I have a 3 channel mixer with 4 line inputs, linked to 2 CDJ's. On the other side of my bedroom I have a PC with a multi-channel sound card running Traktor3. I sometimes link my 3rd channel to the computer to play MP3's but the problem I have is that everytime I want to cue up/pitch bend an mp3 I have to travel to the other side of the room to click my mouse. My desk is not big enough to house a mixer and pc so I can't move it. However, I have a 20" plasma TV directly above my mixer bracketed to the wall. What I thought I could do is link the pc to my TV so that I can see whats happening on my computer without moving, and by using a cordless mouse, I could cue up the tracks from right next to my mixer. What kind of cable would I need? Is this possible?

| you'd need a monitor to rca cable with an extension for the rca's. You will probably run into length problems with a cordless mouse, just get a usb mouse with a whole bunch of usb extensions (or one really long one). You can flip the x-axis of the mouse in the control panel. ;) |

There are a whole host of solutions.
Wirelessly transmitting the signal from the PC to the TV would be one, although it transmits on the same frequency as wireless networks run at, 2.4ghz I believe. So you cannot have both, if you have a wireless network at home you'll have to consider a wired solution for sending the video signal.
Blue tooth keyboard and mouse would be the second part of the solution.
You should post this in the gadgets section, you may find that more people can help you there.

Lots of extended USB cable could be just as bad. |

The hardest thing (which isn't actually that hard) is connecting your PC to the TV. You can't just get a D-Sub to RCA cable. Well I'm pretty sure you can't.
Check what inputs your TV has and what outputs your PC has then you should be set. |
