| i've had lots of fillings due to a calcium deficiency & an overbite which needs an operation on my jaw, but basically causes my teeth to grind and they'd done so for 17 yrs and 4 dentists before a new guy caught it. my teeth are weak but I'm doing my best to improve, spending tons of money on it, on good toothbrushes & doing my best, i know some people with 'better' looking teeth who haven't been to a dentist in upto 10 years :s |

| Its not that bad. I had one done on a back molar. Im afraid of the dentist too. The novicaine shot hurts most and its just a pinch. once its numb its no big deal. Once the dentist got to the nerve, it wasnt numbed up enough, so that wasnt fun, but he just numbed it up more. Its a bit odd when they pull the nerve out, but doesnt hurt. I was done in an hour and eating a burger that night. |

i had one done 10 years ago. it hurt more than any other dental procedure i have ever had done. it hurt more than my impacted wisdom teeth. but after everything is finished if your teeth were in pain they will no longer be, so in that respect it is better.
and some people take very good care of their teeth and it is just in their genes that they will have weak teeth. i dont have the best teeth, but i take care of them very well, and i still have problems. my husband has had one cavity in his life and doesnt take care of his teeth as well as i do. this pisses me off to no end. :whip: just b/c someone has not great looking teeth, doesnt mean they dont take care of them. |
