oops, missed the entire concept i guess. That's pretty cool
But I still stick to what I said about unheard low frequencies, besides these "binaural" signals. |
You will never "hear" these frequencies whatever you do, same as you will never develop an x-ray vision. |

Configure one of the visualization effects. Atleast, the visuals are trippy ! |

Free Lossless Audio Codec
Lossless like WAV. In order to keep as much of the original frequencies, use lossless.
Here's the torrent:

Yeah, believe me I understand sound, what I am refering to is exactly this, that you don't hear it, but they affect your body and brain regardless, which gives you that feeling. So the factory that produces a 1 hz wave won't be heard, but imagine if somehow there was a feeling of dread or hauntedness that these people felt.
I wish i had the source on the above, it's from something one of my professors of electroacoustics told me about. |

Omega - yes that was it. Thank you!
Also I'm producing some waves with pd - you guys know this program?
http://www.puredata.org/
I might write a program that generates each of these 'documented conditions' with the click of different buttons.
just tried making a 9 second long loop of a 440 hz A4 in the left channel with a 440.9 signal in the right, this should create a .9 hz signal that cycles exactly 10 times in the loop, right?
Listened to it for like 4 minutes and I definitely began to imagine the sound was changing quite dramatically. When I removed the headphones all the ambient noise in the room, especially my computer's humming sounded really loud and watery, like some weird warble LFO effect was applied to it. |
