Definitely a year that symbolizes fication of trance (2006)......hopefully the composers will turn it up in 07 and give us something we can shake our asses too......leave all this fluffy for the gay guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
lmaoooooo ... step away from Armin Ferry Tiesto and PvD and you will see that 06 was actually one of the better years of Trance. (mind you no matter what people say or write those djs will always be my fav.)
From epic tunes like Amex - Back In The Sun & Inner Vibes - Eternal Freedom to masterpieces such as Ian Betts & Nick Rowland - State Of Becoming (Ian Betts Remix) and A & F Project - Uraeus (Frase Remix) this year was a solid step in the right direction of Trance.
And also in the yearmix there are some tunes that actually are very very good. To name a few Stella, Rouge, Harmonic, North Pole, Divine and few others. So next time you decide to make idiotic comments like above, please know atleast a little bit of what you are talking about or do some research and find out where YOUR music is heading. Making general comments like band wagoners is not a cool thing :)
Cheers. |

All those "epic" tunes you listed I thought were crap. 2006 imo was the year of non-vocal trance, hard to find a standout tune. Don't get me wrong, a lot of great instrumental tracks were discovered but I'd like to see a return to some good old vocal tracks. Gabriel & Dresden were the most disappointing this year, they've gone all electro and have taken a major step back from where they should be at.
DJ Shah for me would be the producer of the year and rising star Daniel Kandi not far behind. |
