Honestly Greg - It really amounts to nothing more than spam in every sense of the word. Perhaps linking to the thread in DJ Promo would have been fine, but creating a thread in c0r that appears to be solely for the purpose of self promotion (under the thinly veiled guise of "Whore Off" campaigning)? | I think I may have to agree with Mystery one this one. Keep in mind that there have been other spam threads about live streams and whatnot made by other c0r whores that have been kept open. |

The vast majority of the ones that have popped up in here have had moderator approval beforehand.
Again, see the agreement worked out between Ian and Jason - Though it's starting to look like more and more folks are taking advantage of it and perhaps we'll just have to drop it entirely. :( |

I'm being hardheaded on this one guys, sorry, I made this mix FOR the CORE and that's a promise. Ask tribu, I was chatting with him during its conception. If you guys would like I could close the thread in the Promo section until the whore-off is over.
And also, it's not self promotion when I make a mix anyways, it's to share music and get feedback. |

Which is exactly why there is a DJ promo forum - Did we not just have this EXACT discussion with xScottx yesterday?
I'd keep the thread in DJ promo open - Odds are when a c0r mod actually signs on today, your thread here will be closed anyway. I'd just leave the one in DJ promo open so you don't need to create another. ;) |

Greg - You can spin it however you want, but you do know you're wrong buddy. This is no different than the Paperbag situation - You're a mod, you know better, and you need to set examples for the rest of the forum.
Edit: And you also know for a FACT that if any other candidate did it, they'd be experiencing the exact same repercussions. |
