Hi all,
I decided to share this bootleg I’ve made a few months ago.
First it was just a dj tool I used to play, but by the time it grew to a whole remix/bootleg/whatever.
I guess it’s nothing special but this version gives the original some more energy.

Hey there,
Nice use of the Arthur Baker beats. Sounds like the loop is from Planet Rock or Play at your own risk (Technically one and the same).
Do I have your permission to use this for playing out, I think it would give a nice twist at a Free party I'm playing on New Years Day.
Cheers

Hey Nem,
check your PM!
I'm glad you like it. But your guess is a bit off target.
The breakbeat is from Emjay - Make Some Noise :tongue2
Never mind! The main thing is that your audience will enjoy
when you play it!
Best regards

Sounds nice, though the breakbeat seems to be a bit off at times (check at about 00:40, it's not much... maybe it's even just my ear :D)
the version is quite short though, maybe you could make it a bit longer + it would be nice if you could post it in a better quality (192kbit+). would really like to play this :) |

Thanks for your hints Nik, but atm I'm too lazy (and too busy working on other projects) for re-editing this because of some dissonance... most likely only a handful of people will even notice it.
As for the length I think it's quite suitable for an electro track and you have enough space to mix in/out.
AND it's thought to be similar to the original track which isn't that much longer. The main difference is that my structure is much more dj-friendly.
A version in better quality could be available somewhen in the next months - at present I'd like to keep it as unique as possible.
So keep your eyes open! |
