Nice meeting Gerrit and touching base with Myra, Rob, Blake, Heather, Jeff, Milo, etc. Who is the guy holding the keyboard in Rubin's avatar?

Thinking about it more. I really think Danny was in his finest form last night. About in the middle of his set he busted out with this BANGING stuff.. it was incredible. And then once in a while after that, he would throw on this CRAZY sick track that just sounded MAD. With blazing hard-hitting "rock" snares, the kind of track that just makes you wanna party. He threw down some crazy tracks out of the blue that just kinda made you go HOLY !!!! That is an incredible thing when it happens. Just in-your-face. I would have to rate it in the top 5 of 2006. The past 2 weekends have been NUTTY insane good. Rawk. An unforgettable ending to an unforgettable year. And it's not over yet. :P

Happy New Year everyone. Try not to forget about safety and responsibility. :P

That was probably the best live set I've ever heard. :)

Reminded me so much of Nocturnal Frequencies 3, the perfect blend of hypnotic proggy vibes with (sometimes not so) subtly bangin' housey beats - Add perfect programming, a tracklist that's diverse as hell (and full of unknowns), and flawless mixing and you've got an unbeatable night.

Summary: Last night Danny Howells passed Sasha as my current favorite DJ.

Great to see everyone out, and MASSIVE thanks to Andy and Yuris for having me over to play some records at Four prior to Vision. - I was scanning for a Blake Jarrell all night, but utterly failed to see one. Based on the above posts, I'm sorry I didn't try harder :p

Good times for sure, though I lost track of the crew at some point after heading up to the stage and never found you again :( . Great to see a lot of friends who haven't been in Chicago lately and thanks for stopping by FOUR. Blake, all I can say is I'm very very proud of your drinking abilities and kept the tradition of blacking out at Howells shows alive (I have the last 3 out of 4 times and walked on stage w/ a toy wrestling belt once and got kicked out). Might of had been out of sorts by that point, but as I recall Danny quite impressively mixed in James Brown perfectly.

Story of the night is definitely leaving the club and rob trying to get into a cop car thinking that it was a cab and having the cop be like "wtf i'm not a cab!?"

I blacked out again, yet somehow I do remember that :) Danny was awesome again, even though I don't remember specifics.. Definitely harder than I expected and of course I had a blast. I hardly remember anything after a waitress bought me a shot of jager, I swear she drugged me :/ It was sweet partying with the chicago crew again and meeting rubin for the first time. Andy I need to get those shoes back somehow, I in knew i'd end up leaving them, sweet sweet irony...

Rob and Myra thanks for coming down to party and for bringing the shoes and luke fair cds, win!

Also, I sang some song by Phil Collins during the cab ride home. Pissed the cabbie off proper.

RJT: Alright guys, take it easy - Good seeing you!

**proceeds to attempt to get in back seat of cop car**

Garth: Uhhhh, that's not a cab.

RJT: Sure it i... Oh.

Cop: You're welcome to take a ride with me if you want (then something along the lines of "but you may not like where we're going")

RJT: Uh, no thanks man.
