NEED HELP ASAP! Giant Question...

I just got off the phone with a friend that is flying out to LA with us for NYE. She lost her drivers license yesterday. :nervous: She went to the DPS and received a temporary paper license but will not receive her actual card for another several weeks. She has a picture school ID and maybe one other ID card but only the paper license has the DOB.
So...any guesses on whether or not Giant will accept this form of identification? Is there someone I can contact to find out a definite answer?
She is freaking out! :nervous:
Any help would be appreciated!

| temporary license with some other form of ID should work. thats good enough for us in the Department of Homeland Security at the airports. |

if youre in dallas......she should go over off of alpha by valley view mall...there is a c-store next to hawleys billiards that cashes checks, sign up for an acct to cash checks there b/c they will give her an ID card on the spot and it will have her addy, pic and name. since she doesnt have a normal Id to give them, tell her to take a birth cert., a bill w/ her name on it, school ID, or anything else she can think of up there w/ her. the ppl are pretty cool so im sure they will give her one......hope this helps!!!!
PS....might want to bring birth cert., a bill w/ her name on it, school ID, and everything else w/ her to the airport and giant too just to be safe |

expired gov't ID and birth certificate, if she has it. if she doesn't have the latter, i HIGHLY advise heading to the tax/records office in downtown dallas at 500 elm street @ record.
PS. what flight you on? we're not leaving 'til sat morning [standby on my employer, natch ;)]. |

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll relay everything to her so she can get her crap together.
Nicole, most of us are leaving from Hobby tomorrow morning. We'll arrive early afternoon. The one without a license is leaving from Austin on Sunday. |
