This is my first post in here after a long time so I will try and write true review of these two tracks rather then just posting how great it is and rating it. So enjoy!

Jay Lumen's latest tracks appear on Pure Substance Digital and are teamed with three tracks from Tobias Hoppe.

The first time I heard One Moment (Dawn On A Beach Mix) I knew I was going to like this track for years. This is the better of the two tracks for me. It starts out nice a slow then picks up the pace with as the grooving bassline, subtle melodies and swoshy sythns all work together so beautifully. This leads us to the break where enters the main melody of the track. Nothing to mind blowing but like everything else, it just fits right in with the mood and feel of the track. Not a big build up but it comes at you quick and we're hit with two melodies that work seamlessly together. In my own opinion, this is what progressive house should sound like, groovy, melodic, spacey and somewhat dark.

Next up is 'Million Years' and after hearing this track more and more it has really grown on me. Like 'One Moment' this track has nice spacey sythns and subtle melodies all throughout the track. The bassline, melodies and mood remind me of the early works by Bart Van Wissen. for the first part of 'Million Years', there are two melodies that blend and feed off eachother so well until the break hits. Once the break hits the trance like synth we heard early is brought to the fore front and will be focus for the duration of the track. Once again it is fitting to the track. For the remainder of the track nothing special occurs but we'll just to have to sit back and enjoy the various elements of what makes this track so chill.

Jay Lumen has really impressed me with tracks like 'Perpetual Drifting', 'Lima' and these two releases. I really looked forward to hearing more stuff from this very talented and up and coming proudcer. For more info on Jay check out www.jaylumen.com where you can hear long samples off most of his work.

Jay Lumen rocks, I really love his productions. I really like the dreamy breakdown of Perpetual Drifting.
