Zombie fight

I think id vote that the chemically altered zombie would win in a fight against the undead zombie due to its speed and power and would dismember the zombie.
but on the whole Id rather fight a chemically altered zombie because it stays dead once killed and there are typically a lot less of them and cannot infect you as the undead zombies tend to "turn" you. |

Hmm, I suppose I'd fight the chemically altered zombie too UNLESS i were a Paladin, considering the bonus I get against undead. Then again, I'd rather get killed by a chemically altered zombie than be a Paladin so your question puts me in a hellish quandary. |

Also, the chemically altered zombie (henceforth known as a ChemZombie)does it have any other improved stats than speed and power?
Longer talons? Vomits acid a la, "The Fly"? Poison breath or are you telling me that the, "Chemical alterations" are simply tantamount to Steroid abuse?
If you're going to alter a ZOMBIE go big or go the home. I'm pissed off now. |

well yes, a cleric or a paladin would of course be quite effective with their Turn Undead ability which either frightens them off or, if a decent enough roll is thrown, will cause instant death.
However, the outcome of a fight against a chemically altered zombie in the dark would be terrifying. Time of day is of course very important. The proximity to ammo and safe barricading tools is also a necessary bit of information.
12pm and near a gun store...undead all the way. Close quarters hallway, and a shotty...chemical. Except if the hallway is wooden or large...because chemical zombies tend to be grippy and use multiple dimensions in their attacks. |

no no chemically altered zombies are like...re-animated via chemicals. The undead zombies are unholy. |

aren't all zombies NECESSARILY undead?
edit: Oxford's Definition:
a corpse supposedly revived by witchcraft, especially in certain African and Caribbean religions.
So perhaps we should just call them ChemZombies and Zombies |

well I think a chemically altered zombie could be either a normal human turned "killing machine" that would not die when receiving the trauma that would normally kill said human.
However, I do believe that you could chemically re-animate a corpse given a time frame close enough to said corpses death time. This becomes tricky, however because the chemical alteration may trap their souls in their body and making them both chemically altered AND unholy. |
