this was neat. last night i was spinning at a local lounge here in the great B-more. and the dancefloor was all wet and sticky and whatnot - obviously had some people grooving and spilling all over.
so the cleaning guy walks out goes down the street to walgreens (thank you 24 hour chains) gets two bottles of baby powder and makes people get off for like 2 mins. sprinkles it on there. i'm like damn playa - i go out there just to test it out and it worked. a little useful tip for you all i guess. |

Yes!!!!
I agree, Ive used it multiple times in the studio, and I've heard of people using it on the dance floor. Works miracles. |

We have stuff like that at our work, in case of bad spills (oil, someone vomiting, etc.). It's industrial-strength, though, and it's not baby powder.
I've had to use it twice. Once when someone dropped a ton of eggs in front of the garbage compactor, and also when a customer slipped, fell on his catheter and broke open the little pouch that holds his urine. :wtf: |

They sprinkle salt on floors to give them grip too.
Baby powder is good to put on your feet when you get out of the shower. It helps prevent athletes foot. |

Aluminum Oxide. You must put it in a sand blaster and stand in front of it for results.
Works like a charm. |
